Welcome
On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to warmly welcome you to our website and hope it gives you a flavour of some of the special things that happen at our school.
After working at Broadway for 24 years, I am immensely proud to be Headteacher and have the privilege of working with fantastic children, supportive parents and dedicated staff every day.
Our team of hardworking, talented and enthusiastic staff strive to ensure that every child experiences an exciting, memorable and meaningful four years with us, where they are challenged and encouraged to achieve the highest possible standards and are prepared for their future lives. We open up the world to children through imaginative learning opportunities, both inside and outside of school, offering a wide range of visits and extra-curricular activities that motivate and inspire. This is enhanced further by the excellent links we have with partners in our community and local area, such as SAFC’s Foundation of Light and the University of Sunderland.
The partnership we have with parents is highly valued by our whole school community and we welcome families to join us in school at events throughout the year.
Wellbeing for all - children, parents and staff - is extremely important to us and we work supportively to ensure that everyone within our Broadway ‘family’ is happy, healthy and safe.
