School Games - PLATINUM  
The School Games Platinum Award is the highest recognition for schools that have consistently achieved Gold in the School Games Mark, demonstrating sustained commitment to competitive sport and physical activity. 

Sunderland's Active Charter - GOLD  
The Charter Mark measures a school's performance over four key areas that include education, sport, physical activity and key community standards. Levels of achievement are measured through bronze, silver and gold level accreditation.  

OPAL Play - PLATINUM  
The OPAL Platinum Award is the highest honor in the Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) program, recognizing schools that provide exceptional opportunities for children to play, explore, and learn outdoors. This award is a testament to the schools' commitment to high- quality play, policy, planning, resourcing, staffing, and evaluation. The OPAL program helps schools improve playtime by encouraging children to enjoy free, creative, and active play outdoors, supporting their development of new skills and having fun in safe but exciting environments. Schools that maintain OPAL Platinum Award status for three consecutive awards will join the OPAL Honours group, promoting them as national exemplars of outstanding practice. 

Artsmark - GOLD 

The Artsmark Gold Award is a prestigious recognition given by Arts Council England to schools and educational settings that demonstrate a strong commitment to arts and cultural education. 


PSQM 
The Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM) is a prestigious award that recognizes schools for their commitment to high-quality primary science education. Since its inception in 2010, the PSQM program has been instrumental in improving the profile and quality of science education across the UK and internationally. Schools that successfully complete the PSQM program are awarded a Quality Mark, which signifies their dedication to transforming science education and enhancing the learning experience for all children. 

Music Mark  
The Music Mark School Award is a recognition program for schools that demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality music education for all students. It aims to celebrate schools that are dedicated to improving their music education and providing equitable, diverse, and inclusive music education for every young person. Schools that receive the Music Mark of Recognition are asked to agree to the Music Mark of Recognition Pledges, which include advocating for the importance of music education in the curriculum and creative life of the school, and welcoming opportunities to broaden their musical horizons by working with providers in their community and beyond.  

2 Simple - PIONEER SCHOOL 
This award is a reflection of the school's commitment to embedding technology into teaching and learning. This achievement demonstrates a proactive approach to digital innovation, with staff and pupils effectively using 2Simple tools to enhance creativity, collaboration, and digital skills across the curriculum. 

NRICH Problem Solving School  
The NRICH Problem-Solving Schools initiative helps schools embed mathematical problem-solving into their curriculum, offering free resources, teacher training, and a structured programme to develop confident, resilient problem-solvers. 

My Happy Mind - ACCREDITED SCHOOL 
This achievement recognises the school's commitment to supporting the mental health, wellbeing, and personal development of its pupils through the successful implementation of the My Happy Mind programme. 
By placing wellbeing at the heart of school life, the school has demonstrated dedication to helping children build resilience, develop positive habits, understand their emotions, and foster a growth mindset. Staff have embraced the programme's principles, creating a nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to thrive both academically and personally.
